A piece that provides an attractive representation of the delightful spring colour created by cherry blossoms. The base layer flows from magenta & violet tones into soft grey & pale green. I used a sponge technique for the light white tissue paper like flowers. The focus was to emphasis the bigger flowers with multiple colours & the use of the palette knife to give you a 3d effect encouraging you to touch.
